This report focuses on promoting investment for energy access in least developed countries. The lead author is Ellen Morris, with guidance from Susanna Wolf and Rita Ruohonen of the United Nations Office of the High Representative for the LDCs, LLDCs and SIDS. Heidi Schroderus-Fox and Sandagdorj Erdenebileg provided overall guidance. The report also acknowledges the contributions of Oumar Diallo and Tomas Gonzalez at UN-OHRLLS, Marcel Alers and Bahareh Seyedi at UNDP, and Minoru Takada at UN DESA. The report is based on interviews and access to data and advice from individuals leading projects and programs aimed at expanding energy access through increased investment flows.
