Fortheyearended31December2023,theGrouprecordedalossattributabletoownersoftheCompanyofapproximatelyHK$1,632,535,000(2022:lossofapproximatelyHK$162,643,000),representinganincreaseinlossofapproximately9timesascomparedwithlastcorrespondingyear.Theincreaseinlosswasmainlydueto(i)theimpairmentlossonminingrights,property,plantandequipment,right-of-useassetsandgoodwillofapproximatelyHK$51.56million,HK$31.61million,HK$149,000andHK$13.40millionrespectively;and(ii)recognisedalossondebtrestructuringofapproximatelyHK$1.34billion. BUSINESSREVIEW TheprincipalprofitgenerationactivitiesoftheGroupare:(i)miningoperations —exploitationandexplorationofmineralresources;and(ii)chemicaltradingoperations—manufacturingandsaleofchemicalproducts.Ananalysisofeachofthesebusinesssegmentsispresentedbelow: MiningOperations—ExploitationandExplorationofMineralResources MolybdenumMine TheGroup’sminingoperationmainlyincludestheexploitation,explorationandproductionofmolybdenumconcentrateinthePRC.OurmolybdenumconcentratewasproducedbythemolybdenummineoperatedbyShaanxiProvinceLuoNanXianJiuLongKuangYeCompanyLimited(“JiuLongKuangYe”),anon-whollyownedsubsidiaryoftheGroup.Thegradingofmolybdenumconcentrateproducedbyourmolybdenumminewasapproximately45%–50%. 整体财务表现 于截至二零二三年十二月三十一日止年度，本集团录得收益约1,533,714,000港元，较去年同期约1,295,666,000港元增加约18.37%。收益主要来自本集团化学品买卖业务，本年度并无开展采矿业务，因此采矿业务并无产生收益。 截至二零二三年十二月三十一日止年度，本集团录得本公司拥有人应占亏损约1,632,535,000港元（二零二二年：亏损约 162,643,000港元），较去年同期亏损增加约9倍。亏损增加主要是由于(i)采矿权、物业、厂房及设备、使用权资产及商誉的减值亏损分别约51,560,000港元、31,610,000港元、149,000港元及13,400,000港元；及(ii)确认债务重组亏损约13.4亿港元所致。 业务回顾 本集团产生溢利的主要业务为：(i)采矿业务 —开采及勘探矿产资源；及(ii)化学品买卖业务—制造及销售化学品。各业务分类之分析载列如下： 采矿业务—开采及勘探矿产资源 钼矿场 本集团的采矿业务主要包括于中国开采、勘探及生产钼精粉。我们的钼精粉产自本集团的非全资附属公司陕西省洛南县九龙矿业有限公司（“九龙矿业”）经营之钼矿场。我们的钼矿场生产的钼精粉的品位为约45%–50%。 4NorthMiningSharesCompanyLimitedAnnualReport2023 ManagementDiscussionandAnalysis 管理层讨论及分析 Themininglicencehasbeensuccessfullyrenewedandtherenewedlicence,whichisvalidupto22February2034,hasbeengrantedbytheMinistryofNaturalResourcesofthePRCandissuedtotheCompanyon10February20
