Fortheyearended31December2020,theGrouprecordedalossattributabletoownersoftheCompanyofapproximatelyHK$2,605,251,000fromcontinuingoperations(2019:lossofapproximatelyHK$670,543,000fromcontinuingoperations),representingaincreaseinlossofapproximately288.53%ascomparedwithlastcorrespondingyear.Suchincreaseinlossfortheyearended31December2020wasmainlydueto(i)writtenoffofpotassiumminingrightofapproximatelyHK$1,771,832,000;and(ii)impairmentlossunderexpectedcreditlossofapproximatelyHK$1,189,730,000. BUSINESSREVIEW TheprincipalactivitiesoftheGroupare:(i)miningoperations—exploitation,explorationandtradingofmineralresources;and(ii)chemicaltradingoperations—manufacturingandsaleofchemicalproducts(collectivelynamed“continuingoperations”).Duringtheyearended31December2020,propertymanagementoperationwasdiscontinued(“discontinuedoperations”).Ananalysisofeachofthesebusinesssegmentsispresentedbelow: Continuingoperations MiningOperations—Exploitation,ExplorationandTradingofMineralResources Asat31December2020,theGrouphastwomineralmineswithinitsMiningOperation,namely(i)MolybdenumMine;and(ii)PotassiumFeldsparMine. 整体财务表现 于截至二零二零年十二月三十一日止年度，本集团自持续经营业务录得收益约650,915,000港元，较去年同期自持续经营业务录得约839,588,000港元减少约22.47%。该减少主要是由于本集团采矿业务及化学品买卖业务的收益较去年
