MarbleSlagsandCalciumCarbonateBusiness MarbleslagsareproducedbystrippingoverburdenatZhangjiabamineandcrushingthecrackedmarblestones.Marbleslagisarawmaterialfortheproductionofgroundcalciumcarbonate(the“GCC”).TheGroupsellsthemarbleslagstotheGCCmanufacturerswhichareclosetotheZhangjiabamine. China’seconomyisexpectedtobeatlowgrowthrateasitimposedhardlineCovid-19controlsduringthefirsthalfyear2022forthepossibleresurgenceofpandemicinChina,couplingwiththetensionsinUS-ChinarelationsandUkrainewarwhichalsoposedagreatchallengetotheglobalsupplychainandChina’seconomy.AllthesehaveputastrainonChina’seconomicrecoveryandresultedingrowthmomentumsoftening.Demandofmarbleslagsshowedaweakeningsignbutremainedrelativelystablebecauseitisarawmaterialformanufacturinggroundcalciumcarbonate(“GCC”),whichiswidelyusedinproductionofmanydailyproducts,suchasconstructionmaterials,paper,plastic,paints,etc.DuringHY2022,revenueattributabletomarbleslagsbusinesswasapproximatelyRMB25.5million,representingadecreaseofapproximatelyRMB2.8millionor9.9%ascomparedtoapproximatelyRMB28.3millionforHY2021.ThedecreasewasprimarilyduetoadisruptiontotheproductionresultingfromtheCovid-19preventionandcontrolsduringHY2022.TheaveragesellingpriceincreasedfromapproximatelyRMB20.1pertonnetoapproximatelyRMB26.0pertonne.Theeffectonsuchincreaseinaveragesellingpricewaslargelycompensatingforrevenuelostfromthedecreaseintheproductionvolume.TheGroupbelievestheweakdomesticandglobaldemandwilllastastretchoftimeandthebusinessgrowthinmarbleslagswillslowdownintheforthcomingyears. TheGrouphascontinuedtofindawaytorollouttheGCCbusinessplan.TheGroupbelievesthatitownsrichandextractablemarbleresourcesintheZhangjiabaMine,whichgivesitacompetitiveadvantagetodeveloptheGCCbusiness.Inviewofthegoodfuturebusinessopportunities,theGroupwillcontinuetolookforcooperationpartnerstorollouttheGCCbusinessplan.GiventhecurrentnegativemarketsentimentfortheexpansionoradditionalinvestmentinthebusinessfortheGCCoperators,thetimelineforcarryingouttheplanwouldtakelongerthanexpected. 业务回顾 中国金石矿业控股有限公司（“本公司”）连同其附属公司（“本集团”）主要在中华人民共和国（“中国”）从事大理石及大理石相关产品的生产及销售。本集团拥有并经营中国境内一座米黄色大理石矿山，即位于中国四川省江油市香水乡镇江村的张家坝矿山。 大理石矿渣及碳酸钙业务 大理石矿渣是在张家坝矿山覆盖层剥采过程中通过压碎破裂大理石产生。大理石矿渣是生产重质碳酸钙的原材料。本集团将大理石矿渣售予张家坝矿山附近的重质碳酸钙制造商。 于2022年上半年，中国对新型冠状病毒实施严格控制措施以防止疫情在境内出现反弹，同时中美关系紧张及乌克兰战争亦对全球供应链及中国经济带来巨大挑战，预期中国经济将处于低速增长状态。以上各项因素均对中国经济复苏造成压力，并导致增长
