InMarch2023,theGroupmadeastrategicdecisiontodiscontinueitscruiseshipcharterservicesbusiness.On28April2023,theGroupdisposedofallofitsequityandbeneficialinterestinKingstonMaritimeLimited(“KML”),anindirectnon-whollyownedsubsidiaryoftheCompany,andtheprincipalassetofwhichwasacruiseship“AegeanParadise”.ThestrategicdecisiontodisposeofKMLanddiscontinuethecruiseshipcharterservicesbusinesshasyieldedpositiveresults.WhiletheGroupstillrecordedaminimallossfromthebusinessinthecurrentfinancialperiod,itwassignificantlylowerthanthatinpreviousperiods. Followingthedivestmentofthecruiseship,theGroupcontinuedtofocusonitscoreoperationsinmoneylendingandpropertyinvestment,andrecordedaprofitattributabletotheownersoftheCompanyofHK$25,630,000duringthesixmonthsended30September2023(the“Period”)(2022:alossofHK$8,625,000),reflectingtheeffectivenessofitsstrategicinitiativesandtheresilienceofitsbusinessmodel. 尽管挑战及不明朗因素持续，全球及区域经济仍呈现出韧性及逐渐复苏的迹象。在香港，于二零二三年首九个月之消费者支出反弹至疫情前水平近90%；然而，所见仍然缺乏重大增长机会，加上政府对二零二三年香港经济的增长预测由先前估计4.0%至5.0%下调至3.2%，进一步凸显地缘政治紧张局势、2019冠状病毒病限制之后果以及全球贸易环境转弱所带来之挑战。该等因素将会继续影响经济前景，并带来下行风险。 于二零二三年三月，本集团作出策略性决定，终止其邮轮租赁服务业务。于二零二三年四月二十八日，本集团出售其于本公司之一间间接非全资附属公司KingstonMaritimeLimited（“KML”）之全部股本及实益权益，其主要资产为邮轮“AegeanParadise”。出售KML及终止经营邮轮租赁服务业务之策略决定已取得正面结果。尽管本集团于本财政期间仍从该项业务录得少量亏损，然而已较过往期间大幅减少。 于出售邮轮后，本集团继续专注于其放债及物业投资的核心经营业务，并于截至二零二三年九月三十日止六个月（“本期间”）录得本公司拥有人应占溢利2
