TheunauditedconsolidatedlossoftheGroupforthesixmonthsended30September2023wasHK$108.1million,whileanetlossofHK$77.6millionwasrecordedforthesameperiodin2022.Thenetlossincreasedby39.3%whencomparedtolastperiod.ThenetlossismainlyduetoincreaseininterestexpensesinthecurrentperiodandafurtherdecreaseinrevaluationofinvestmentpropertiesandpropertiesunderdevelopmentforsaleheldbytheGroupandjointventures.Suchdecreaseinrevaluationisrecognisedthroughlossonchangeinfairvalueofinvestmentproperties,write-downofpropertiesunderdevelopmentforsaleandshareoflossesofjointventuresinthecurrentperiod. Thebasiclosspershareanddilutedlosspershareforthesixmonthsended30September2023wereHK9.9centsandHK9.9centsrespectively.ThebasiclosspershareanddilutedlosspersharewereHK7.0centsandHK7.0centsforthecorrespondingperiodlastyear.
