TheunauditedconsolidatedlossoftheGroupforthesixmonthsended30September2022wasHK$77.6million,asopposedtoanetprofitofHK$93.4millionforthesameperiodin2021.ThenetlossinthecurrentperiodismainlyattributabletodecreaseinrevaluationofinvestmentpropertiesandimpairmentlossonpropertiesunderdevelopmentforsaleheldbytheGroupandjointventures.Suchlossesarerecognisedthroughlossonchangeinfairvalueofinvestmentproperties,impairmentlossonpropertiesunderdevelopmentforsaleandshareoflossesofjointventuresinthecurrentperiod. Thebasiclosspershareanddilutedlosspershareforthesixmonthsended30September2022wereHK7.0centsandHK7.0centsrespectively,asopposedtoabasicearningpershareanddilutedearningpershareofHK8.5centsandHK8.4centsforthecorrespondingperiodlastyear.
