BUSINESSREVIEW DuringtheReportingPeriod,themanagementteamcontinuedtoputforthsignificanteffortinfosteringitsexistingbusinessesandactivelyseekingfornewbusinessopportunities,recoveringandcatchingupwiththeGroup’srevenueandnetprofits,whichhadbeennegativelyimpactedbythenovelcoronavirus(“COVID-19”)epidemicandfromtheintensemarketcompetitionasaresultofmarketrecovery.TheCompanysoughttoexpanditssaleanddistributionofmerchandisebusinesssegmentbyenteringthebusinessofbulkcommoditytrading.Asaresult,theGroup’srevenueandgrossprofithadanincreaseinthisyear.InFY2022,theprovisionofinteriordesignandbuildingengineeringservicessegmentaccountedfor5%ofthetotalrevenue(2021:19%),whilethesaleanddistributionofmerchandisesegmentaccountedfor95%ofthetotalrevenue(2021:81%).
