We began research for the first annual NextGen Homebuyer Report inApril of 2020 and have since launched 8 surveys, totaling over 5,000respondents between the ages of 18-44, alongside countless interviewswith NextGen homebuyers. A common theme through the past three Last year, we found significant variances in psychometric and behavioralapproaches to homebuying and financial wellness between Gen Z andMillennials, as well as barriers by gender, race and ethnicity, andoccasionally by income level. While this report remains fairly general, we increase equal access to financial resources and increase empathy in thehomebuying experience.
