FinancialandBusinessReview Duringthefinancialyear2024,theGrouprecordedaprofitofapproximatelyHK$85.7million,14.49%decreasewhencomparedwithapproximatelyHK$100.2millionintheprecedingyear.RevenuewasincreasedbyapproximatelyHK$7.0million,around6.08%increasewhencomparedwithlastyearofapproximatelyHK$115.0million. ThefinancingsegmentofourGrouphasrecordedarevenueandoperatingresultsduringtheyear,amountedtoapproximatelyHK$79.7millionandHK$28.9millionrespectively.InviewofthedownturnoftheeconomyinHongKong,theGrouphasimplementedamoreprudenttreasurycontrolapproachintermsofevaluatingandcontrollingourclients’loanrecoverability.
