Chinahascancelledalllock-downrestrictionsinthefirsthalfoftheYearandre-focusedontheeconomicgrowth.However,geo-politicaltensionamongdifferentcountriescontinuedandfurtherintertwinedtogether.Withthebackdropoftheover-a-year-longmilitaryconflictbetweenRussiaandUkraine,andIsrael‘smilitaryactioninPalestine,causingthedisruptionofshipmentroutesneartheRedSeaandheightenedshipmentcosts,weexperiencedtheYearfullofchallenges. AstheChineseoldsayinggoes:Opportunitiesalwayscomewiththreats.Financially,theGroupcontinuedtoovercomechallengesandhasrecordedasalesgrowthof21.0%duringtheYeartoRMB2.4billion,withaprofitfortheYearofRMB162.8million. KingdomhasincorporatedEnvironmental,SocialandGovernance(“ESG”)intoourbusinessstrategy.Wecontinuouslyimplementedvariousenvironmentallyfriendlyenergysavingprojectstoimproveouroperationefficiency,toensureoursustainableoperationsandlong-termsuccess.Theannualtotalconsumptionsofelectricity,water,steamandnaturalgasoftheGrouphasdroppedby7.0%,6.1%,12.5%and6.8%respectively.
