Kazakhstan and the Asian Development Bank (ADB) have had a successful 30-year partnership, marked by $13.6 billion in cumulative grants, technical assistance, and lending commitments. The partnership has focused on improving people's lives by modernizing infrastructure, creating jobs, reducing carbon emissions, improving road safety, boosting trade, and strengthening regional connectivity. ADB assistance has been allocated to various sectors, including public sector management, education, finance, agriculture, energy, water and urban infrastructure, trade and supply chain finance, and others. Results of ADB-assisted projects and programs include the establishment of small and medium-sized enterprises, improved access to safe drinking water, and the construction of roads. The partnership has been beneficial for both Kazakhstan and the ADB, and will continue to support the country's development.
