AlthoughvariousbusinesssectorswereaffectedbyCOVID-19,theresearchanddevelopmentofvaccineandpeoplesspentmoretimeathomeledtotheboomingofneweconomystocks(mainlymedicinerelatedandtechstocksprovidingonlineplatform)duringthePeriod. OperationalReview DuringthePeriod,theGroupcontinueditsinvestmentactivitiesinbothlistedandunlistedinvestmentsandotherrelatedfinancialassets.Thoseinvestmentswhichareheldforrevenueinnaturefortaxpurposeareheldfortradinginnature.Whilethoseinvestmentswhichareheldforcapitalinnaturefortaxpurposeareheldforlongterminnature. Asmentionedinmarketreviewsection,thestockmarketwasaffectedbytheCOVID-19andhencethelistedinvestmentsoftheGrouphadmixedresultsatPeriodEndDate. DuringthePeriod,DisposaloffinancialassetsatFVTPLwasminimalcomparedto2021Period.During2021Period,wehaddisposedofcertainloss-makinglistedinvestmentssothatthegrossproceedsfromthedisposaloffinancialassetsatFVTPLwhicharerevenueinnaturehadbeendecreasedsubstantivelyfromthatof2021Period. Otherthanthelistedinvestments,theGroupdidnothavenewunlistedinvestmentduringthePeriod. 业务回顾 市场回顾 随着2019年12月下旬爆发新冠病毒疫情，于本期间，主要经济体继续实施各种检疫措施，包括旅游限制及封城。该等措施令市民大众的生活受到严重影响，而各商业界别的业务活动亦受到窒碍，继而影响本期间的股票市场。 尽管各商业板块均受到新冠病毒疫情影响，惟疫苗研发及人们在家时间增加导致本期间新经济股（主要为医药相关及提供网络平台的科技股）表现畅旺。 经营回顾 于本期间，本集团继续进行上市及非上市投资及其他相关金融资产之投资活动。持作就税务而言为收益性质的有关投资乃为买卖性质持有，而持作就税务而言属资本性质的有关投资则为长期性质而持有。 如市场回顾一节所述，股市受新冠病毒疫情影响，故本集团的上市投资于期结日表现好坏参半。 于本期间，出售的按公平值计入损益之金融资产与2021期间比较是处于一个很低的水平。于2021期间，我们已出售若干处于亏损的上市投资，使出售按公平值计入损益之金融资产之所得款项总额（属收益性质）在本期间较2021期间有所大幅减少。 除上市投资外，本集团于本期间并未有新的非上市投资。 4PROSPERITYINVESTMENTHOLDINGSLIMITED|InterimReport20222022中期报告|嘉进投资国际有限公司 MANAGEMENTDISCUSSIONANDANALYSIS 管理层论述和分析 FinancialReview ResultforthePeriod TheGroupreportedalossaftertaxofapproximatelyHK$4.7millionforthePeriodcomparedtothelossofHK$11millionforPeriod2021.Otherthantheadministrativeexpenses,investmentmanagementexpensehadbeenreducedfromHK$3.6milliontoHK$0.48million,financecosthadreducedbyHK$0.4millionaftertherepaymentfromproceedsondisposaloflistedsecurities.ThelossforthePeriodwasmainlyduetothefollowingreasons: (i)againofapproximatelyHK$0.25million(Period2021:lossHK$3.3million)arosefromthechangeinfairvalueofrevenueinnaturelistedequityinvestmentsatFVTPLasaresultofthefluctuationsofthestockmarket; (ii)alossofapproximatelyHK$0.34million(Period2021:gainofHK$1.6million)arosefromthechangeinfairvalueofcapitalinnaturelistede
