HangSengIndexdropped6.1%between3January2023and30June2023. OperationalReview DuringthePeriod,theGroupcontinueditsinvestmentactivitiesinbothlistedandunlistedinvestmentsandotherrelatedfinancialassets.Thoseinvestmentswhichareheldforrevenueinnaturefortaxpurposeareheldfortradinginnature.Whilethoseinvestmentswhichareheldforcapitalinnaturefortaxpurposeareheldforlongterminnature. Asmentionedinmarketreviewsection,thelistedinvestmentsoftheGrouphadmixedresultsatPeriodEndDate. DuringthePeriod,wehaddisposedcertainloss-makinglistedinvestmentssothatthegrossproceedsfromthedisposaloffinancialassetsatFVTPLwhicharecapitalinnaturehadbeenincreasedsubstantivelyfromthatof2022Period. ProceedsondisposaloffinancialassetsatFVTPLwhicharerevenueinnaturehaddecreasedbyaroundHK$677,000fromthatof2022Period. Otherthanthelistedinvestments,theGroupdidnotmakeanynewunlistedinvestmentduringthePeriod. 业务回顾 市场回顾 由2023年3月起，中国和香港已经重新开放给到访人士。但由于乌克兰脆弱局面，潜在的金融市场的不稳定和美国持续性针对香港和中国公司的制裁和限制构成下行风险。不同行业的表现预期差异很大。 恒生指数由2023年1月3日至2023年6月30日下跌6.1%。 经营回顾 于本期间，本集团继续进行上市及非上市投资和其他相关金融资产之投资活动。持作（就税务而言）为收益性质的有关投资乃为买卖性质持有，而持作（就税务而言）属资本性质的有关投资则为长期性质而持有。 如市场回顾一节所述，本集团的上市投资于期结日表现好坏参半。 于本期间，我们已出售若干处于亏损的上市投资，使出售按公平值计入损益之金融资产之所得款项总额（属资本性质）在本期间较2022期间有大幅增加。 出售按公平值计入损益之金融资产之所得款项（属收益性质）较2022期间减少677,000港元。 除上市投资外，本集团于本期间并未有新的非上市投资。 FinancialReview ResultforthePeriod TheGroupreportedalossaftertaxofapproximatelyHK$10.28millionforthePeriodcomparedtothelossofHK$4.7millionfor2022Period.Otherthantheadministrativeexpenses,investmentmanagementexpensehadbeenreducedfromHK$0.48milliontoHK$0.32millionandfinancecosthadincreasedbyHK$0.32millionduetoincreaseininterestrate.ThelossforthePeriodwasmainlyduetothefollowingreasons: (i)alossofapproximatelyHK$0.78million(2022Period:gainHK$0.25million)arosefromthechangeinfairvalueofrevenueinnaturelistedequityinvestmentsatFVTPLasaresultofthefluctuationsofthestockmarket; (ii)alossofapproximatelyHK$4.18million(2022Period:lossofHK$0.34million)arosefromthechangeinfairvalueofcapitalinnaturelistedequityinvestmentsatFVTPLasaresultofthefluctuationsofthestockmarket;and (iii)administrativeexpensesofapproximatelyHK$4.22million(2022Period:HK$3.83million).
