However,the fragile situation in Ukraine,potential financial market instability andcontinued restrictions imposed by USA on operations of companies in HongKongand PRC pose downside risks to growth.Performance will varysignificantly by industry sector. 由2023年3月 起，中 國 和 香 港 已 經 重 新 開 放 給到 訪 人 士。但 由 於 烏 克 蘭 脆 弱 局 面，潛 在 的 金融 市 場 的 不 穩 定 和 美 國 持 續 性 針 對 香 港 和 中國 公 司 的 制 裁 和 限 制 構 成 下 行 風 險。不 同 行業的表現預期差異很大。 Hang Seng Index dropped 6.1% between 3 January 2023 and 30 June 2023. 恒 生 指 數 由2023年1月3日 至2023年6月30日下跌6.1%。 Operational Review 經營回顧 During the Period, the Group continued its investment activities in both listedandunlisted investments and other related financial assets.Thoseinvestments which are held for revenue in nature for tax purpose are held fortrading in nature. While those investments which are held for capital in naturefor tax purpose are held for long term in nature. 於 本 期 間，本 集 團 繼 續 進 行 上 市 及 非 上 市 投資 和 其 他 相 關 金 融 資 產 之 投 資 活 動。持 作（就稅 務 而 言）為 收 益 性 質 的 有 關 投 資 乃 為 買 賣 性質持有，而持作（就稅務而言）屬資本性質的有關投資則為長期性質而持有。 As mentioned in market review section, the listed investments of the Grouphad mixed results at Period End Date. 如 市 場 回 顧 一 節 所 述，本 集 團 的 上 市 投 資 於期結日表現好壞參半。 During the Period, we had disposed certain loss-making listed investments sothat the gross proceeds from the disposal of financial assets at FVTPL whichare capital in nature had been increased substantively from that of 2022Period. 於 本 期 間，我 們 已 出 售 若 干 處 於 虧 損 的 上 市投 資，使 出 售 按 公 平 值 計 入 損 益 之 金 融 資 產之 所 得 款 項 總 額（ 屬 資 本 性 質 ）在 本 期 間 較2022期間有大幅增加。 Proceeds on disposal of financial assets at FVTPL which are revenue innature had decreased by around HK$677,000 from that of 2022 Period. 出 售 按 公 平 值 計 入 損 益 之 金 融 資 產 之 所 得 款項（屬收益性質）較2022期間減少677,000港元。 Other than the listed investments, the Group did not make any new unlistedinvestment during the Period. 除 上 市 投 資 外，本 集 團 於 本 期 間 並 未 有 新 的非上市投資。 Management Discussion and Analysis管理層論述和分析 財務回顧 Financial Review Result for the Period 本期間業績 The Group reported a loss after tax of approximately HK$10.28 million for thePeriod compared to the loss of HK$4.7 million for 2022 Period. Other thanthe administrative expenses, investment management expense had beenreduced from HK$0.48 million to HK$0.32 million and finance cost hadincreased by HK$0.32 million due to increase in interest rate.
