Basis of Preparation The Report is prepared as per Appendix C2Environmental, Social and Governance Reporting Code ofMain Board Listing Rules issued by the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited ( “HKEX” ), with referenceto theSGX Core ESG Metrics published by the Singapore Exchange ( “SGX” ). Meanwhile, the Reportrefers to and responds to issues concerned by the United Nations 2030 Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs), MSCI-ESG rating, and S&P Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA), with the combination ofthe Company’ s business development and ESG practices. Scope of the Report The Report discloses the Group’ s risk management initiatives and operational performance in ESGdomains conforming to the principles of “Materiality” , “Quantitative” , “Balance” and “Consistency”mentioned in theEnvironmental, Social and Governance Reporting Code. Unless otherwise indicated,the scope of the Report is the same as that of the2025 Annual Report of the Group, and includes theCompany, its wholly-owned subsidiaries and majority-owned subsidiaries.
