In2023,theChineseeconomyshowedsignsofrecoveryfollowingtheeasingoftheCOVID-19pandemic,despitechallengessuchaspressureonforeigntradeandexportsandadownturnintherealestatesector.Thegovernmenttookproactivemeasurestostimulateeconomicactivitybypromotingconsumptionandencouraginginvestment,therebycreatingnumerousopportunitiesforvariousindustries,includingenvironmentalprotection(“EP”)solutionsandservices.Inaddition,theChinesegovernmentmaintaineditscommitmenttobuildingaBeautifulChinaandpropellingthecountry’sdevelopmentintoamodernpowerhouse,withafocusontransformingitintoagreen,low-carbon,andcirculareconomy.Compliancewithenvironmentalpoliciesbecameincreasinglyimportantforcompaniesoperatinginthecountry.Duringtheyear,theGroupsteppedupitseffortstoexpanditsbusinessoperations,securingmoreprojectsandachievingaturnaroundwithanetprofitofRMB1.5million.
