CHAIRMAN’S STATEMENT 主席報告書 In the environment where governments in various countries are usinghigh interest rates to suppress high inflation and economic overheating,global trade has contracted, leading to subdued demand in the seafreight market. At the same time, the oversupply of shipping capacityhas exacerbated the downturn in the sea freight industry. The management of the Group will tackle the significant challengesahead through cost-saving measures, financial prudence, and seekingnew revenue sources. While maintaining close relationships with existing customers, the Grouphas actively pursued new customer. Despite the challenging operatingenvironment this year, the management has successfully securedseveral new clients in order to expand the Group’s revenue streams. Efforts will be made to negotiate with shipowners to reduce vesselleasing costs, minimize unnecessary administrative expenses, andimprove vessel utilization rates to control costs and enhance theGroup’s efficiency and service. WebelievethatthesemeasureswillenabletheGrouptomoveforwardagainstvariousuncertaintiesandlaythewayforourgreatersuccessinthefuture.
