FortheYear,thetotalrevenueoftheGroupincreasedby5.03%toHK$3,851.62million(2022:HK$3,667.08million)andtheGrouprecordedanetprofitattributabletoequityshareholdersoftheCompanyofHK$25.32million(2022:HK$18.73million). DuringtheYear,theGrouphasbeenawarded17newprojectsasamaincontractorinHongKongwithatotaloriginalcontractsumofapproximatelyHK$7,373million(2022:HK$4,163million).Theoutstandingvalueofourongoingprojectsasat31December2023wasapproximatelyHK$11.7billion(2022:HK$7.1billion),whichcomprise10projectsforgeneralbuildingworksand24projectsforcivilengineeringworks.AftertheYear,theGrouphasbeenawardedthreeprojectsforgeneralbuildingandcivilengineeringworkswithatotaloriginalcontractsumofapproximatelyHK$2,233million.Assuch,theoutstandingvalueofprojectsonhandisstillmaintainedatahealthylevel. Year2023isthe75thanniversaryofourcompanyintradingconstructionbusiness.Itmarksameaningfulmilestonewhichledustoreflectonwhatwehaveachievedsofarandinthemeantimeenableustoembracenewbusinessopportunities. Thepastyearwasachallengingyear.Intheglobalenvironment,geopoliticaltensioncausedeconomyuncertaintiesandunderminedinternationalcollaborationinmanyconfrontingglobalissues.Moreover,recentincreaseininterestratesandthepessimisticsentimentinthelocalstockmarketandrealpropertymarketwouldmakeourconstructionbusinessevenmorechallenging.Overthepastseventyfiveyears,bothSFKandHongKonghaveexperienced,buthavestrode,manyeconomystormsandcrises.Witht
