FinancialPerformance Forthefiscalyearended31December2023,theGrouprecordedatotalrevenueofapproximatelyHK$121.8million,withshareholders’attributablecomprehensivenetprofitofapproximatelyHK$284.9million,includingafairvaluegainofapproximatelyHK$74.5milliononinvestmentproperties.Excludingthisexceptionalitem,theshareholders’attributablecomprehensivenetprofitforthefiscalyearended31December2023,wasapproximatelyHK$210.4million,representingadecreaseof40.3%comparedtotheshareholders’attributablecomprehensivenetprofitofHK$352.6millionin2022.ThedeclineinprofitabilitywasprimarilyduetoanincreaseinfinancecostofHK$279.6millionin2023,representinganincreaseofHK$115.7millionor70.6%ascomparedwithHK$163.9millionin2022.Basedontheweightedaveragenumberofissuedsharesof1,567,745,596,theearningspersharefor2023were18.2HKcents,comparedto20.3HKcentspersharein2022.
