The British Council, in collaboration with McNamara Economic Research and Education Insight, has conducted a study on the shape of global higher education. The study aimed to provide an overview of national policies framework for international engagement. The key findings suggest that openness is a crucial aspect of global higher education, with countries such as the United States, Canada, and Australia leading the way in terms of international collaboration and exchange. The study also highlights the importance of national policies in shaping the international engagement of higher education institutions.
