The ASEAN region is committed to education development and social and economic integration. This report focuses on higher education in the region, including participation, provision, infrastructure, international mobility, quality assurance, access, and emerging themes. Key findings from previous volumes are also discussed. The report concludes that while there is a commitment to an ASEAN-centric approach to IHE, there are still challenges to be addressed, such as potential brain drain and the need for further collaboration in quality assurance.
