The Worldwide Fuel Charter is a publication by the members of the Worldwide Fuel Charter Committee that provides fuel quality recommendations. It is intended to be a service to worldwide legislators, fuel users, and producers. The charter does not impose any obligation on users or producers of fuel, and it does not prohibit the use of any engine or vehicle technology or design, fuel, or fuel quality specification. It is not intended to replace engine and vehicle manufacturers' fuelling recommendations. The charter contains information from sources believed to be reliable, but the committee makes no warranty, guarantee, or other representation, express or implied, with respect to the charter's sufficiency or fitness for any particular purpose.
