The Commission's assessment of the National Policy Frameworks (NPFs) highlights the need for more investment in alternative fuels infrastructure, which is lagging behind. The AFID review provides an opportunity to upgrade the infrastructure requirements for all alternative fuels and meet the higher ambitions of the European Green Deal.
