The European Automobile Manufacturers' Association (ACEA) is committed to making mobility climate-neutral by 2050, with a focus on innovation, technology, and a stable regulatory framework. The industry is investing heavily in electrified vehicles and related technologies, with plans to invest over €60 billion in the next few years. However, to support this transition, the industry needs a pan-European network of charging and refueling infrastructure, with binding national targets for member states, financed by the European Recovery Fund. The necessary framework conditions must be attractive and supportive to ensure the successful deployment of clean mobility.
