The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the importance of connectivity in society and the economy. A research note by a telco company surveyed over 6,300 consumers in nine countries to understand how the crisis is affecting their connectivity needs and expectations. The key findings are that consumers' needs are evolving, with network speed and flexibility becoming increasingly important. Only 48% of consumers feel that their current connectivity services adequately meet their remote work and education needs. Consumers are open to exploring new online services to minimize risks. The report suggests that telcos need to adapt to these changing needs and expectations to reconnect with customers and emerge stronger from the pandemic.
