The Atradius Payment Practices Barometer is an annual survey conducted by Conclusr Research on behalf of Atradius to assess international corporate payment behavior. The 2017 edition of the survey focused on Eastern Europe, with companies from five countries (Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia, and Turkey) participating. The survey used a questionnaire to conduct interviews with companies' appropriate contacts for accounts receivable management. The sample consisted of 1,021 interviews, with a quota maintained for each country based on company size. The interviews were conducted through a web-assisted personal interview (WAPI) lasting approximately 15 minutes and took place in the first quarter of 2017. The survey found that the manufacturing industry had the highest percentage of interviews, followed by wholesale/retail/distribution and services.
