The Atradius Payment Practices Barometer report for Australia shows that the average total value of sales made on credit terms in Australia decreased from 49.1% in 2016 to 43.8% this year. This was mainly due to the sharp decrease in the average percentage of foreign B2B sales on credit. The percentage of B2B sales on credit to foreign B2B customers from 48.8% in 2016 to 39.9% this year. Respondents in Australia are less likely to sell on credit terms to both their domestic and foreign B2B customers compared to the regional averages.
