Atradius Payment Practices Barometer - 2015 October Results: Australian B2B Payment Behaviors Survey Australian respondents reported that credit sales accounted for 46.5% of their domestic B2B sales and 45.3% of their foreign B2B sales, which is lower than the regional average of 50.6%. The average payment terms for domestic and foreign B2B customers were both 20 days from the invoice date, which is shorter than the regional average of 33 days. 93.8% of Australian respondents experienced payment delays in the past year, which is higher than the regional average of 90.2%. The average delay was 43 days, compared to the regional average of 27 days. The average percentage of B2B invoices that were unpaid 90 days after their due date was 15.0% for Australian respondents, compared to 9.0% for the region. The average percentage of the total value of B2B invoices that were unpaid 90 days after their due date was 63.1% for Australian respondents, compared to 45.2% for the region.
