India is the country most affected by late payment, according to the Atradius Payment Practices Barometer for May 2018. The survey results show that 2018 brought many changes in India, including more frequent payment delays, increases in the proportion of overdue B2B invoices and DSO, and a longer invoice to cash turnaround. These changes have a significant impact on cash flow, causing respondents to have to correct it, postpone their own payments to suppliers, and lose revenue. Despite these changes, respondents remain optimistic about improvement in payment behavior in the future. The survey results also show that India recorded the highest proportion of uncollectable B2B receivables in Asia Pacific.
