I.BUSINESSREVIEW TheGroup’smainsourceofrevenueforthesixmonthsended30June2023(the“Period”)istradingofconstructionmaterialsinthePRC.Geographically,ShandongProvinceremainstheGroup’sprincipalmarket.AllrevenuesoftheGroupduringthePeriodwerederivedfromShandongProvince. Propertydevelopmentbusiness PropertydevelopmentbusinessistheprincipalactivityoftheGroupsinceyear2012.Inthepast10years,theGroupsuccessfullycompletedPhaseOneandPhaseTwooftheLantingProjectandMeijunProject. Thebusinessenvironmentofpropertydevelopmentmarketisheavilyaffectedbythenationalandlocalgovernmentalpoliciesinthepastyears.TherealestatemarketofZoupingCityalsofluctuatedalotandshowedadownwardtrendintherecentyears.Allthesefactorsrenderedthemanagementtotakeaconservativeapproachindealingwithallthepotentialprojects.PropertydevelopmentisacapitalintensiveindustryanditwillheavilytieuptheworkingcapitaloftheGrouponceaprojectiskickedoff.Assuch,ittakeslongertimefortheGrouptoidentifyprofitableprojectswhilepreservingahealthyfinancialposition.TheCompanyhasneverdependedheavilyonaggressivefundraisingforanyprojectdevelopmentanddoesnothavethepressureofde-stockanddeleveragewhichotherpropertydeveloper
