TheGrouphasexperiencedmanychallengesundertheundesiredeconomicandbusinessenvironmentduringtheYear.Highlevelofinventoriesaccumulatedbyourcustomersandtightenedanti-pandemicprecautionmeasuresadoptedbytheGovernmentofthePeople’sRepublicofChina(the“PRC”)haveseriouslyaffectedtherevenueandprofitmarginofbusinesssegmentsoftheGrouptodifferentextents,especiallythemanufacturingandsalesbusiness,tradingbusinessandpropertydevelopmentbusiness. DespitethesechallengesintheYear,theGrouphastakendecisiveactionstomanageouroperatingcostsandtoimproveouroperationalefficiencyofvariousbusinesssegments.TheseactionsweregraduallyreflectedinourmanufacturingandsalesbusinessandtheoverallcostsofthisbusinesswasdecreasedduringtheYear.Furthermore,theGroupalsoreviewedourbusinessstrategiesandexploredbusinessopportunitiesindifferentdirectionstoexpandourmarketsharesofdifferentbusinesssegmentsforthecomingyears. 中星广清智谷 ForourpropertydevelopmentbusinessintheQingyuanCity,thePRC,theGrouphasdevotedmoreresourcesinpromotingtheimageof 清智谷中星广 •,thefirstindustrialparkdevelopedbytheGroup,anddeliveringhigh-qualityproductsandservicestoourpotentialcustomers.Asatthedateofthisreport,approximately32%ofthetotalgrossfloorareaofthefirstphaseofdevelopmentof• wassold.Itwasreallyencouragingtobeabletoachievesuchresultsduringthisdifficultyear.
