The global beauty industry is growing, with a projected market size of US$ 480.4 billion by 2030. Despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, industry giants like L'Oreal and Estee Lauder have reported double-digit growth. Celebrities such as Kim Kardashian, Hailey Bieber, Harry Styles, and Pharrell Williams are also launching their own skincare and beauty brands, tapping into the growing demand for men's and unisex beauty products. To understand how these brands are performing and how consumers feel about them, Synthesio analyzed over 1.5 million online conversations about 53 celebrity-owned makeup, skincare, and haircare brands in the US, UK, and France. The analysis found that Rihanna's Fenty Beauty, Selena Gomez's Rare Beauty, and Gwyneth Paltrow's Goop are the most talked-about brands, with a combined share of voice of 40%.
