Salesforce Research conducted a survey of nearly 6,000 professional salespeople to explore how sales representatives are adapting to new expectations from both management and customers, the increasing importance of sales operations, and the growth strategies and tactics that sales managers are implementing in the face of a global crisis. The data was collected through a double-blind survey conducted from May 13, 2020 to June 30, 2020, with 5,951 full-time professional salespeople (including sales operations personnel, sales representatives, and sales managers) participating. The survey included B2B and B2B2C companies in North America, Asia Pacific, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. All respondents were third-party survey subjects (not limited to Salesforce customers). The report contains insights from Salesforce Research to help businesses transform the way they drive customer success.
