Foreword Understanding the global trends affecting the Financing for Development (FfD)Agenda The biennial flagship Global Outlook on Financing for Sustainable Development provides a comprehensiveanalysisof major trends impacting the global financial system and financing for the SustainableDevelopment Goals (SDGs). The report addresses the interconnected crises hindering progress towardsthe 2030 Agenda, including the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, the climate crisis, rising inequalities,fragility and the growing financial gaps in developing countries. By offering multidisciplinary insights, ithighlights the interdependence of economic and social systems and the urgency of collective action forfairer, inclusive global growth.
