Revenue Duringtheperiodunderreview,revenueoftheGroupwasapproximatelyHK$2,667.2million(2023:approximatelyHK$2,294.7million)representinganincreaseofapproximately16.2%ascomparedwiththeperiodended30September2023,asaresultofthecombinedeffectofanincreaseof21.9%insalesvolumeandadecreaseof4.7%inaveragesalesprice. Revenuegeneratedfromsalesofgoodsfromdifferentgeographicallocations(asdeterminedbywheretheproductsweredeliveredto)issetoutinnote6tothefinancialinformationonpage25. Otherincomescomprising,amongothers,salesofscrapmaterialsandutilitiesincomearesetoutinnote7tothefinancialinformationonpage29. Costofsales CostofsalesoftheGroupwasapproximatelyHK$2,467.1million(2023:approximatelyHK$2,080.8million)representinganincreaseof18.6%ascomparedwiththeperiodended30September2023whichwasconsistentwithincreaseinrevenue. Profit Duringtheperiodunderreview,theprofitattributabletoequityholdersoftheCompanywasapproximatelyHK$106.9million(2023:approximatelyHK$124.5million)representingadecreaseofapproximately14.1%ascomparedwiththeperiodended30September2023.
