Revenue Duringtheperiodunderreview,revenueoftheGroupwasapproximatelyHK$2,294.7million(2022:HK$2,761.2million)representingadecreaseofapproximately16.9%ascomparedwiththeperiodended30September2022,asaresultofthecombinedeffectofadecreaseof7.4%insalesvolumeandadecreaseof10.3%inaveragesalesprice. Revenuegeneratedfromsalesofgoodsfromdifferentgeographicallocations(asdeterminedbywheretheproductsweredeliveredto)issetoutinnote6tothefinancialinformationonpage25. Otherincomescomprising,amongothers,salesofscrapmaterialsandutilitiesincomearesetoutinnote7tothefinancialinformationonpage29. Costofsales CostofsalesoftheGroupwasHK$2,080.8million(2022:HK$2,432.0million)representingadecreaseofapproximately14.4%ascomparedwiththeperiodended30September2022whichisconsistentwithdecreaseinrevenue. Profit Duringtheperiodunderreview,theprofitattributabletoequityholdersoftheCompanywasHK$124.5million(2022:HK$248.2million)representingadecreaseofapproximately49.8%ascomparedwiththeperiodended30September2022.
