Fortheyearended31March2024,theGroup’sturnoverwasHK$661,856,000(2023:HK$683,482,000),decreasedby 3%ascomparedtolastyear.TheGroup’slossattributable toshareholderswasHK$250,250,000ascomparedtoalossattributabletoshareholdersofHK$175,680,000fromlastyear.Theslightdecreaseinturnoverwasmainlyattributabletothedecreaseinthefoodbusinessturnoverwhichwaslargelyoffsetbytheincreaseinrestaurantbusinessturnoverduringtheyear.Theincreaseinlossattributabletoshareholderswasmainlyduetothecombinedeffectof(i)increaseinthefinancecostsduetotheincreaseininterestratesinbankborrowings; (ii)theimpairmentofgoodwillandright-of-useassetsduetodownsizingoftheHongKongstyle“ChaChaanTeng”（茶餐厅）restaurantbusiness;and(iii)theoperatinglossinfoodbusinessduetothedecreaseinsaleoffoodproducts.
