The McKinsey Global Institute (MGI) is a research arm of McKinsey & Company that aims to provide insights into the global economy. Its research covers a range of topics, including productivity and growth, natural resources, labor markets, global financial markets, technology and innovation, and urbanization. MGI's reports have covered over 20 countries and 30 industries, and its current research focuses on six themes. The organization is led by three senior partners and a team of partners and consultants.
