This report aims to understand China's carbon-neutral pathway and power sector reform through a multi-model approach. The Renewable Electricity Planning and Operation (REPO) Model and the E3ME-FTT:Power model are used to explore different scenarios for China's power sector. The results show that market reform, emission trading system, public R&D, and deployment of renewable energy and storage are important policy implications for China's power sector.
