OVERALLREVIEW In2023,theGrouprecordedarevenueofHK$1,830,186,000(2022:HK$1,665,515,000)andagrossprofitofHK$567,574,000(2022:HK$508,488,000).TheGroup recordedaprofitfortheyearofHK$162,209,000(2022:HK$50,832,000).Asdemandintheglobalgeneralaviationmarketremainedstrongin2023,bothsalesrevenueandcorrespondinggrossprofitoftheGroup’sgeneralaviationaircraftpistonenginebusinessmaintainedanupwardtrend.Thesignificantincreaseinprofitfortheyearended31December2023wasmainlyattributableto(a)therecognitionofdeferredtaxcreditinrelationtothetaxlossesofpreviousyearsbyasubsidiaryoftheCompanyintheUnitedStates,whichhasstartedtogeneratetaxableprofitsin2023;and(b)theprofitfor2022includedanimpairmentofotherintangibleassets. BasicearningspershareamountedtoHK1.74cents(2022:HK0.55cent).Thereturnonequity,calculatedonthebasisofprofitattributabletoownersoftheCompanyasapercentageofequityattributabletoownersoftheCompany,was5.4%(2022:1.8%). 本人谨代表ContinentalAerospaceTechnologiesHoldingLimited大陆航空科技控股有限公司（“本公司”）之董事（“董事”）会 （“董事会”）欣然提呈本公司及其附属公司 （“本集团”）截至二零二三年十二月三十一日止年度之全年业绩。 整体回顾 于二零二三年，本集团录得收益 1,830,186,000港元（二零二二年： 1,665,515,000港元）及毛利567,574,000港元 （二零二二年：508,488,000港元）。本集团录得本年溢利162,209,000港元（二零二二年：50,832,000港元）。由于二零二三年全球通用航空市场需求依然强劲，本集团通用航空飞机活塞发动机业务的销售收入及相应毛利均保持上升趋势。截至二零二三年十二月三十一日止年度的溢利大幅增加乃主要由于(a)本公司一间美国附属公司于二零二三年度开始产生应课税溢利，对其过往年度所得税损失确认了递延所得税项抵免；及(b)二零二二年的溢利包括其他无形资产减值。 每股基本盈利为1.74港仙（二零二二年：0.55港仙）。股本回报率按本公司拥有人应占溢利占本公司拥有人应占权益之百分比计算为5.4%（二零二二年：1.8%）。 大陆航空科技控股有限公司 ContinentalAerospaceTechnologiesHoldingLimited AnnualReport2023二零二三年年报3 主席报告以及管理层讨论及分析 CHAIRMAN’SSTATEMENTANDMANAGEMENTDISCUSSIONANDANALYSIS BUSINESSREVIEW Duringtheyear,theGrouphasonlyonereportableoperatingsegment,thegeneralaviationaircraftpistonenginebusiness,whichengagesinthedesign,developmentandproductionofgeneralaviationaircraftpistonenginesandsparepartsaswellastheprovisionofaftermarketservicesandsupportforpistonengines. Againstthebackdropoftighteningmonetarypoliciesbymostcentralbanks,theglobaleconomyhasshownresiliencebeyondexpectationsin2023.ThegrowthofGlobalGrossDomesticProduct(“GDP”)existedasurprisinglysharprise,withrealGDPgrowthat2.5%.However,inthelastquarterof2023,thegrowthoftheglobaleconomybegantoslowdown. Despitea525basispointincreaseininterestratessinceMarch2022,theUnitedStateseconomyremainedmoreresilientthanmostforecasts.Retaildatahasindicatedthatconsumersarecontinuingtodemonstratesustainedpurchasingpower.Meanwhile,therearesignsthatthegrowthofeconomyisslowingdown,andthehouseholdconsumptionsectorisbeginningtobeaffected.In2023,theeconomyadded2.7millionjobs,whichequivalentto225,000jobspermonth,representingthestrongestannualgrowthinemploymentsince2015(excludingthepandemicperiodfrom2020to2022).Thisalsorepresentsthatthegrowthofjobexceededthelevelsin2019bynearly40%. 业务回顾 年内，本集团只有一个须呈报之经营分部－通用航空飞机活塞发动机业务，从事通用航空飞机活塞发动机及备件的设计、开发及生产、以及提供活塞发动机的售后市场服务及支援。 在多数央行收紧货币政策的背景下，全球经济在二零二三年表现出超出预期的韧性。全球本地生产总值（“GDP”）增长出现了令人意外的大幅上升，实际GDP增长率为2.5%。然而，在二零二三年最后几个月，全球经济增长开始放缓。 自二零二二年三月以来已经加息了525个基点，但美国经济仍然比多数预测的更具弹性。零售数据显示，消费者正在展现出持续的消费能力。与此同时，有迹象表明经济增长势头正在放缓，家庭消费部门开始受到影响。二零二三年经济增加了270万个就业岗位，相当于每月22.5万个就业岗位，这是自二零一五年以来最强劲的年度就业增长（不包括二零二零年至二零二二年的新冠大流行期间）。这也意味着就业增长比二零一九年高出近40%。 大陆航空科技控股有限公司 ContinentalAerospaceTechnologiesHoldingLimited 4AnnualReport2023二零二三年年报 主席报告以及管理层讨论及分析 CHAIRMAN’SSTATEMENTANDMANAGEMENTDISCUSSIONANDANALYSIS AlthoughtheinflationratesofglobalandtheUnitedStateswere6.8%and3.4%respectivelyin2023,therewerefavorablefactorstomoderatethegrowthofrevenueandaviationactivitiesonayear-on-yearbasis.Thesefactorsincludedtheavoidanceoflabormarketretrenchment,easinginflationandlaborcostcompression.Accordingtothe2023reportofGeneralAviationManufacturersAssociation,allcategoriesofgeneralaviationaircraftshowedastronggrowthinbothdeliveryvolumesandsalesrevenue.Thereportrevealedthat1,682unitsofpiston-poweredfixed-wingaircraftsweredeliveredglobally,representing11.8%growthyearly. Despitethechallengesposedbysignifi
