This report examines the impact of unions on family-friendly workplace policies. The study compares union and non-union workplaces to determine if there is a difference in the implementation of policies that recognize employees' family responsibilities and promote a healthy work-life balance. The report finds that union workplaces tend to have more comprehensive family-friendly policies than non-union workplaces. The authors acknowledge that more research is needed to fully understand the relationship between unions and family-friendly policies.
