The UC Berkeley Labor Center published a report in March 2016 titled "Race to the Bottom: How Low-Road Subcontracting Affects Working Conditions in California's Property Services Industry." The report aims to investigate the impact of subcontracting on working conditions in the property services industry in California. The study was funded in part by a grant from The California Wellness Foundation and was conducted by Sara Hinkley, Annette Bernhardt, Sarah Thomason, and the Labor Occupational Health Program at the University of California, Berkeley. The report's executive summary and introduction are provided, and the full report is available for download.
