The Atradius Payment Practices Barometer survey of Singapore found that despite the uncertain business environment, most respondents do not plan to change their current credit management practices. In 2016, Singapore had the highest average percentage of transactions on credit with 54.5%, but this decreased to 44.5% in 2017. The average percentage of domestic B2B sales on credit also decreased from 56.6% to 48.6% this year, while the percentage of B2B sales on credit to foreign B2B customers declined from 52.4% to 40.4%. Respondents in Singapore are more likely to use credit terms in domestic B2B transactions than in foreign B2B transactions, slightly less likely than the regional averages. 1.9% of credit sales were uncollectable, with 55% paid on time, 45% past due, and 2016: 55%.
