The Atradius Payment Practices Barometer survey in Indonesia found that on average, 45.1% of total B2B sales were made on credit terms, with suppliers in Indonesia more likely to offer credit terms to domestic customers than foreign ones. Sales on credit terms to both domestic and foreign customers increased compared to the previous year. The Indonesian economy is expected to grow 5.1% in 2017, driven by private consumption and business and government investments. The administration aims to strengthen the economy through improved infrastructure and increased foreign investments. A slowdown in China's economy in 2018 is expected to exert pressure on Indonesia's exports, causing GDP growth to slow down slightly to 4.8%.
