The Atradius Payment Practices Barometer survey for Eastern Europe in November 2020 found that late payments have surged by 88% compared to last year, with 45% of B2B invoices remaining unpaid at the due date. This has led to a 103-day average DSO in the region, with 33% of respondents reporting an increase of over 10%. Additionally, businesses in Eastern Europe have written off 6% of the total value of invoices owed to them, a significant increase from last year's 1%. Finally, 59% of businesses interviewed reported significant revenue shortfalls.
