The 2023 China Logistics Occupier Survey conducted by CBRE found that while the outlook remains positive, challenges and solutions are expected to moderate over the next three years. Green infrastructure and power are expected to play a key role in the future. The survey found that 82% of respondents intend to expand their portfolio in response to economic uncertainty. The survey also found that 39% of respondents plan to invest in smaller warehouses in the next three years. Additionally, 59% of respondents intend to increase their warehouse space in the next three years. The survey also found that 90% of respondents intend to increase their portfolio, rental terms, site selection, and indication of interest in green warehouses.
