This report examines the experiences of ACCA's female membership in the global economy through their responses to the organization's confidence and recovery indices. The findings show notable differences between female and male respondents in the areas of business support and access to finance. These differences highlight the need for policymakers and others to work towards closing the gender gap, which is prevalent in much of the world's economic activity. ACCA, the global body for professional accountants, aims to offer business-relevant qualifications to people of application, ability, and ambition worldwide.
