The Enhancing the Effectiveness of Social Dialogue Articulation in Europe (EESDA) project aimed to advance knowledge and expertise on social dialogue in Europe and its effectiveness. The project involved five consortium partners and conducted research through desk research, an online survey, and interviews with national and EU-level social partners. The project focused on the effectiveness of social dialogue in six EU Member States and four sectors, with a particular emphasis on industrial relations models and traditions. Findings were completed using network analysis to visualize and reveal strong and weak ties between actors and draw lessons for experiences and best practices in other sectors and countries. The project concluded that efforts that have a direct and indirect impact on social dialogue articulation and effectiveness are crucial for its success.
