The CMO Council's "Getting in Sync with Mobile Customers" study found that mobile engagement is critical for marketing success, with 61% of marketers deploying some form of mobile engagement and 54% reporting that the mobile channel has become critical to customer interaction, retention, and brand differentiation. However, there is a clear opportunity for brands to become leaders in this space, and most marketers are still struggling to advance mobile beyond a loose set of campaigns. Only 17% of marketers have mobile strategies that are fully integrated and aligned with their overarching marketing strategies. The study highlights the need for more insights and best practices from other industries and regions.
