The International Energy Agency (IEA) has prepared a report on the future of hydrogen, which is enjoying unprecedented momentum around the world and could finally be set on a path to fulfill its longstanding potential as a clean energy solution. The report provides an extensive and independent assessment of hydrogen, identifies the most promising immediate opportunities to provide a springboard for the future, and lays out how we can go about realizing its potential. The IEA is ideally placed to help shape global policy on hydrogen, as the world's leading energy authority covering all fuels and all technologies. The report was conducted in close collaboration with governments, industry, and academia.
